Moving is stressful, especially out of state. I interviewed 6 companies and went with Hollander, and I’m glad I did. I’m a tough but fair person on reviews since it often helps others do their research and make a decision. Hands down I had the best experience with the team at Hollander. They are a very professional team and if you want piece of mind on your move, the choice is simple, choose them. Chris the sales guy is a wealth of information and experience, I was sold the day I met him. The support team is on all the time, Rebecca is quick to help and follow up, and most importantly the crew that packed , loaded me up was fantastic. If you want to get others to quote, don’t waste your time, most are brokers anyway, take the stress off and go with Hollander.

You would be very fortunate to find and choose this moving team. Chris performed administrative miracles to make this move happen with virtually no advance notice. Rebecca handled virtually everything to ensure the move was arranged, conducted, and concluded without a worry on my part. Then there was James, the team leader, and his crew. These are FANTASTIC individuals. They were on-time, flawlessly professional, and kind (in the face of what was a very sad move of my mother’s things). I will be forever grateful.

The crew included, Jimmy, Pepe, and Jose. Did it an excellent job. It was a difficult place to find and they were very good at getting there early so it was a great start. They were very careful even though it was quick. They separated a couple of items I wanted to put in my car and we’re very good at making sure nothing else was damaged that was put in storage so overall, I must say that the work was very good, they were very timely, and the price was reasonable. This was a good group. Thank you very much.

I would use them again. They were hired & coordinated through moving services from another state, so I’m not sure of how much their portion cost.

When it came time to move a family member from a house into an apartment, based on my personal past experiences, my first and only call was to Hollander. This move could not have gone better. This was the last in a series of moves, and included items that came from both storage and from temporary housing, so it was a big move. The new apartment building did not make it easy for the movers, but this crew really rolled with the punches, got it done, and went above and beyond. They were also very helpful when it came to moving things around to help us choose items that were going to stay in the apartment and items that were going to go back into storage. Marcus H, Alex P, Simon, S and Paul M were all terrific, worked well together, and were very accommodating. I’m sure it was a very long day for all of them, but they never let on, and they truly went above and beyond. I will continue to highly recommend Hollander to friends, family, and clients.

The United Van Lines crews that loaded and unloaded the truck were exceptionally pleasant to work with, efficient, and diligent. Moving is hard, but Hollander took good care of us!We moved from Chicagoland to Northern Michigan and ran into problems with our new-build home that set our close date back multiple times. Hollander worked with us to pack, store, and ultimately deliver our belongings and took good care of us all along the way.First things first: our move coordinator, Rebecca, is FANTASTIC! Despite the number of times I needed to call or text her with new dates, she never let me down. Her empathy, attention to detail, and excellent communication got me through this move with my sanity (more or less) intact. She is Hollander's crown jewel!Jack, our crew lead and driver, was calm and reassuring throughout the entire process. The care and precision he took to make sure everything worked well was terrific. Our crew in Crystal Lake worked so well together, from packing up our entire house to loading it all safely and securely onto the truck was so reassuring. He arrived right on time at our new home on move-in day and made sure the unloading went as well as the initial load-in.The remote crew in Northern Michigan (from Morse Moving) was great and a lot of fun, too. Smooth and precise, asking thoughtful questions, and all with good humor, Andrew and his crew got us through move-in day!Chris, our sales rep, was so good at explaining how everything would work from the beginning.
